Latest developments from Pip:

  • Just been swimming. Well, Mummy has and I went along for the ride. Great fun. Can’t wait to try AquaAerobics on Wednesday after my scan… #
  • Just playing with technology. I guess I take after Daddy. #
  • Starting to develop a whitish coat of a slick, fatty substance covering my body; protects my skin from the long bath in amniotic fluid. #
  • Yay – having my photo taken again later today. I’ve combed my downy hair especially – must remember to wave to Mummy & Daddy – more later. #
  • Forget artist’s impressions – here’s what I really look like: http://bitly.com/pip-20wks {sucking my thumb!} #
  • Apparently after I swallow amniotic fluid my body absorbs the water in the liquid and moves the rest into the large bowel. Sounds gross! #
  • I’m looking much more normal in my latest portrait: http://snipurl.com/babyrew-20weeks #
  • But lots of people say they prefer my scan photo than the artist’s impressions :o) #

programmers, and we need it within a few decades.

This planet came with a set of operating instructions, but we seem to
have misplaced them. Important rules like don’t poison the water,
soil, or air, and don’t let the earth get overcrowded, and don’t touch
the thermostat have been broken. Buckminster Fuller said that
spaceship earth was so ingeniously designed that no one has a clue
that we are on one, flying through the universe at a million miles per
hour, with no need for seatbelts, lots of room in coach, and really
good food – but all that is changing.
